M81, M82 and NGC 3077 galaxies lay some 12 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation of the Great Bear (Ursa Major). The triplet are strongly interacting with each other. Observations of the 21-centimeter hydrogen line suggest that this gravitational link exists among them.<\/p>\n

Integrated Flux Nebula (IFN) can be seen around the galaxies. This faint glow is caused by the combined light of the stars of the Milky Way reflected and re-emitted by interestellar gas and dust.<\/p>\n
