The Crescent Nebula, NGC 6888, is located some 5,000 light-years away from Earth.<\/p>\n

It is surrounded by huge clouds of gas and dust in the constellation of Cygnus. NGC 6888\u2019s central star is classified as a Wolf-Rayet star (WR 136). This star will become a supernovae in the near future.<\/p>\n

To capture this image I used H\u03b1 and [OIII] narrow band filters in order to capture the faint details of this amazing deep sky structure.<\/p>\n
